Meet Dr. Kassouf

Dr. Danielle Kassouf is a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of Telegraph Psychology Collective. She brings extensive clinical experience and training at UCSF, California Pacific Medical Center, and community mental health programs in Alameda and San Francisco counties to her work with adults, teens, and couples. She helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, body-image concerns, life transitions and more.

Warm, insightful, and actively engaged, Dr. Kassouf combines compassion with clear, thoughtful feedback. Her style is gentle and encouraging but direct: she helps clients understand patterns, recognize strengths, and find new ways to respond to difficult thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Sessions offer space for honest reflection alongside practical steps toward meaningful change.

Dr. Kassouf has particular expertise in the psychological challenges of chronic illness and pain, including stigmatized and poorly understood conditions such as migraine, vestibular disorders, and POTS/dysautonomia. She understands how health concerns can affect identity, confidence, relationships, and everyday life. Her approach validates the reality of physical symptoms while helping clients work through grief, navigate uncertainty, rebuild trust in their bodies, calm the stress response, and reconnect with valued activities and relationships. Dr. Kassouf also trains other clinicians to provide sensitive, body-aware care to these populations.

Drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, and self-compassion, Dr. Kassouf tailors treatment to each person’s needs. Her work helps clients soften self-criticism, develop greater flexibility, and move toward what matters most, even when circumstances remain difficult. Across her practice, she supports people in building lives with more connection, agency, and room for joy.

Dr. Kassouf welcomes prospective clients to schedule a free consultation to discuss their goals and explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
