Formerly North Berkeley Counseling Collective
There is hope for a more meaningful, satisfying life.
Therapy can help. With supportive, targeted treatment, you may increase your coping abilities, feel more empowered, and be kinder and more accepting of yourself.
What we address
Choose what feels closest. You don't need a diagnosis to reach out.
Worry that won't switch off, panic that comes out of nowhere, or the steady pressure to perform at school or work. Psychologists in the collective use CBT, ACT and mindfulness to help you understand what your mind is doing and respond to it differently.
Feeling "less than" or "not good enough" can quietly shape every day. Therapy can help you quiet the self-critic, rebuild momentum and be kinder and more accepting of yourself.
Whether you're working through conflict with a partner, navigating dating, or wishing for deeper friendships, therapy can help you communicate more clearly and build more satisfying connections.
Negative body image and disordered eating can lead to immense stress and suffering day to day. Clinicians in the collective have helped many clients find balance and heal their relationship with food and their bodies.
Living with a poorly understood condition affects identity, confidence and relationships. We validate the reality of physical symptoms while helping you navigate uncertainty, calm your stress response and reconnect with what matters.
Past experiences may continue to shape how you think, feel, and relate to others today. Trauma-focused approaches such as EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy can help you build resilience, connection and a sense of agency.
Big transitions and questions about who you are deserve space. This is an inclusive practice, and you are welcome as you are.
Parenting is meaningful and ever-changing, and what worked at one stage may not work for the next. We support teens finding their footing and parents navigating everything from conflict to screens and chatbot safety.
